Hello Bob.

First to answer your question about LEAPS. They are in effect "long term options." They don't expire for years in some cases giving the holder plenty of time to sell "in the money" drawbacks are the cost and the time factor.

I like to play 50/50 with long term-short term options.

Long term to me is 4-8 months out.

Short term is 1-3 months out with 2 being the norm.

Monday I am playing GLX August 45's and HM August 15's and last but not least Conseco (CNC) August 40's I BELIEVE THAT THIS WOULD BE THE ONE PLAY I WOULD MAKE IF ONLY ALLOWED ONE. NOT BECAUSE OF UP COMING SPLIT BUT BECAUSE THEY ARE RELEASING EARNINGS ON JULY 30th. AND THEY SHOULD BE FANTASTIC. VALUELINE RATES CNC A "1" ON THEIR SCALE WHICH IS THE HIGHEST YOU CAN EARN!!!!

Just made a killing on Royal Dutch Petro and DELL because of splits.

I am a believer in Some of Wade Cook's ideas concerning options.

Anyone else have some plays for tomorrow?

Options, a risky game but a profitable one!
