if all of israel packed up and left i'm sure the arabs would squabble and fight amongst themselves for the scraps. i am not naive enough to believe that the absence of israel would bring peace to the middle east. i'm not even suggesting all jews leave israel. i'm not suggesting that they can't seek hegemony in the region through further incursions into arab lands. i'm merely suggesting that if they aren't going to let the americans dictate to them a just solution to the arab-israeli crisis in the middle east, then what are we paying them $3 billion per year for? let them fight their own battles. there is no vital interest in shelling out fighters and missiles to israel so they can blow up arabs and incite terrorism towards america.
