I would not over-simplify things. If IBM misses on Monday, most likely they will report strong growth in their Service and PC segments, and continued margin/revenue erosion in Maninframe/Mini/Workstation/Disk Drive/etc segments, which is mostly good news for Intel. If I recall correctly, when IBM went from 170 to 126 in Jan., a lot of that money got put into Intel. I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happened again, especially with the recent change-of-heart in Intel.
