Red week for me so far Rick.

I had an order in to close out my QQQ shorts @ $22.38 on Monday. I watched thousands of shares trade @ $22.37 - 37.1¢ - 37.2¢ & every 1/10 cent between $22.37 & $22.38, yet I didn't even get a partial fill.

I've had similar, albeit more egregious situations happen on other trades in the past (as much as 10¢ beyond my limit order), so I knew that complaining to my broker was fruitless. They have every excuse in the book to tell you how you are being screwed, even though others are getting filled at prices below (when you have a limit buy order) or above (when you have a limit order to sell) your limit order. I had no restrictions on the order too (all or nothing, etc.).

Anyway, I covered 1/2 of my QQQ short later in the day @ $22.56....... then the BS from Iraq hit & as you know, they jammed the futures to the moon........ On Tues AM, I covered the rest of my QQQ short at a small loss & went long some QQQ's @ $22.87.......... just before they pulled the plug :-(

I did buy some NTAP today @ $8.51 & sold it about 45 minutes later @ $8.84........ and bought it back @ $8.77 before the next tank........ Got some EXTR @ $7.05 too.

Put some QCOM @ $27.25 & AMAT @ $12.12 in the retirement acct today. Still lots of cash there.

OOF :-|
