Jeff, Justa, Ajtj: FYI: Comment: A long time ago I said that three things make me fearful for the (economic) future of the world: (1) Worldwide deflation (2) Effective bankruptcy of Japan (3) Insolvency of JP Morgan Chase Well, (1) is unclear as yet but (2) Japan biz.yahoo.com and (3) JPM biz.yahoo.com are clearly in the process of happening right now. I can envision many scenarios involving a direct intervention of US govt/Fed in securities markets, real estate markets, commodities markets, various important industries, etc. when DOW falls below, say, 6000 and COMP falls below 800.
