I tuned into the Jim Lehrer News Hour. When I heard Rummy would be on, I turned the tv off.
Bush and Ascroft claim Al Qaeda is in the US, too. So what? There are criminals all over the world.

Rummy reminds me of Darth Vader decked out in an expensive business suit. Wolfy is the glove that holds the
wand. Jr. is a Texas cowboy who honed his image after watching too many John Wayne and
Clint Eastwood flicks. Cheney is a reincarnation of Beelzebub. O'Neil and Pitt compete for the
role of Bacchus.

They are crazy, TP. They are paranoid. Jr. is as looney as Hitler! And, he could
push the country into a depression. After the 1929 crash I heard a law professor say
this past summer that the US never felt the impact serious impact until
1930 or 31. She feared that we might experience a similar experience with with the markets
now. I am not familiar with the history of the depression so I am not sure about the dates.
You may know. Ray may know.

For local government, these are terrible times. They will only get worse.
We are experiencing deeper cut backs in city services
all the time. The Fire Department cut backs. All departments cut back.
Now, we have to deal with an El Nino and the global
warming seesaw. And the west nile virus spreads to the western US.
