Thanks again to SB for keeping a moribund thread informed about MicroSemi's product announcements. However, I have a little difficulty putting it all in perspective. It seems to me that MSCC is maintaining a good program of new product development, which is the lifeblood of this industry. But new product development has to be viewed in the context of the industry. This is probably not the optimum time for new products intended for the wireless market, so we may not get much "bang for the buck" out of it. Anybody care to comment on how well MSCC's evolving product line is and will be received? And, along the same lines, how about MSCC's competitive position in the industry? How commercially successful are its GaAs and InGa product lines, and how well is that technology being received in the marketplace.

As for me, I got out of MSCC a few weeks ago at $6.70, then bought back in yesterday with a few more shares at $5.75. This looks like a tough market for MSCC's stock to flourish, but it has been volatile within a range recently, making it a good trading vehicle. I'm a little uneasy over the falling volume in the stock- there are days recently when it's traded under 150,000 shares, so it's hard to get too enthusiastic when the stock rises on such small volumes.
