ShopKo Stores, Inc. Signs With National Processing Company for Merchant Processing

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Sept. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- National Processing Company (NPC®), a leading provider of merchant credit card processing and a wholly owned subsidiary of National Processing, Inc. (NYSE: NAP), announced the signing of a multi-year credit card processing agreement with ShopKo Stores, Inc. (NYSE: SKO). Under the terms of the agreement, NPC will provide authorization and settlement services for all VISA® and MasterCard® transactions at 365 ShopKo and Pamida store locations in 23 states.
