Other problem I encountered this morning: I wanted to setup the Etrade Market Trader on the new computer. When I went to install - it's a Java application - I think it is called Virtual Machine - I get sent to a Microsoft site that says they no longer automatically install Virtual Machine. I called Etrade and the tech asked me to go to Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - she asked me to scroll down to Java category. Well there is no "Java" - on my Advanced tab. She then said that I need to go to Microsoft and download updates. IS THIS RIGHT? If I download the XP Service Pack1 (Express), will that add the Java to my Advanced tab? I know I sound like an idiot here, but with my other computer - WIN98, it just allowed downloads and I never had to deal with this. She (the Etrade rep) said there was nothing she could do for me and suggested that I call my ISP - I wasn't sure if I should call them or my computer company (I did try them but they are on PST and not open now).
