Faris: In the Columbian contract, you split with Ecopetrol regardless of how ever many"other' partners are involved(you may as well call it a royalty, should be noted that the split only occurs if and when ECP
declares the contract area commercial) Out of total less 20%, state oil company takes 1/2, then you start splitting among partners.

PS: also remember that $17 dollars a barrel isn't representative of the value in the ground.
