Re: "Let's start with the current sabre rattling that has petrified capital investment markets to a standstill assuring the economic problems continue."
This "sabre rattling" is, by any objective analysis, certainly the smallest part of any problem in the capital investment markets, and striking out appropriately after the rattling likely can ensure the negative effect of terrorism on the market is solved for the long run.
Re: "It they had an ounce of brains they would deal with Iraq after they solve the economic issues and Israel/Palestine issues and take out the Taliban and Bin Laden."
You've laid out a recipe for inaction in the war on terrorism around the world, as expecting your pre-requisites to be "solved" first, is un-realistic for any administration. Inaction simply can not be beneficial to us, under these circumstances.
Re: "this is war mongering stupidity and exactly the wrong time......unless all you care about is votes"
This is self-defense, and I care about protecting the free world at the right time(if a little late). As for the rest, realistically, Americans lacking radical bents, from both parties, see a recession that was underway under Clinton, and they know that policies to fix the economy don't happen overnight, let alone in time to wait before stopping the likes of Sad Dam from striking out again...if indeed he hasn't already with 911(likely, IMO).
