Capitalism indeed carries Darwinist/Mathusian implications, and there is certainly some viciousness to its' natural cycles as well.

But to me, there's nothing more immoral; more deceptive; and it is far more vicious, to suggest the omniscience of (and deliver omnipotence to) the state to establish a singular, centrally planned social and economic structure. A structure within which all individuals of varying - indeed, a dizzying array - of combinations of intellect, motivation, cultures, and means must submit.
