Unfortunately it's yet another rat hole. I think the most important quote out of that link was: "PC manufacturers, though, say little customer interest exists for Linux desktops at the moment. Even PC dealers in China that sell both Windows and Linux desktops say interest is limited. " Gee I wonder why? Simply put MS desktop and office and all the other desktop productivity software companies produce products for MS. Why would I want to save a couple hundred dollars on software licenses to lose man years of lost productivity. The day that the Linux desktop offers the same products and hence productivity then MS is in trouble. It's this kind of mis-directed energy that's dragging this company down.
