What if ACF announces a 100M convertible preferred deal on reasonable terms? (if you know what/who I mean) He's specifically been buying deals like that from companies facing short term liquidity issues recently.

I would think the headlines alone would make it very easy to raise the rest of the 400M as panicky shorts ran for the exits and tag along value investors can't buy it fast enough.

Just a thought.
