Yes!<G>

Love that anecdotal stuff. Whenever you come across something you consider credible? Definitely post it, Louis. You and Wayne are our eyes and ears in Europe.

Kudos on the good dealer find. Looks like Munters is also a MAJOR dealer in currencies from almost everywhere.

And right in Brussels. Should be convenient for you. Have you found them easy to buy from?

Doubt US dealers buy from him. Trust me. There are plenty of recent awa older mintages in Krugs, Maples & Eagles, etc floating around all over in North America.<g> Afterall, 2 of those three are minted on this side of the Atlantic.

Mexico has also produced some nice gold coins for many years. The 20 Peso Gold Azteca is a beautiful coin, if you've not had the chance to see one. Their 50 Peso is a beast! 1.2 oz., though like the Krug it's alloyed with some base metals for better wear. If you want .999 fine gold, in this part of the world? It's the Maple Leaf all the way.

Even though gold is a more traditional investment in Europe, the enormous size of the US economy has produced a sizable coin and bullion trading market since the early 1970s. The dollar devaluations during the 1970s put gold on the investment map for US investors.

And they will be returning in droves, in the years ahead, to drive up our gold holdings.

JMVVHO, of course.
