There is good and bad in that depending on the sincerity of intention to help. Parents can help a problem child buy coming to their aid, bringing family resources, support, and guidance. On the other hand some parents continually rescue their kids only to find that the problem is exacerbated in the future or that new one's are created as a result. Parents with too much financial resources and not enough involvement are likely to find themselves with the latter.
