I see no one mentioned Fran Tarkenton. Probably not the best ever, but he did take some mediocre offensive teams to the big dance. And boy could he scramble. My pick for best QB ever would have to be a Pittsburgh area native.......... No, not Terrry Bradshaw.... he was a good 'ole southern boy. No, not Johnny Unitas (Pittsburgh). No, not Joe Namath (Beaver Falls). No, not Dan Marino (Pittsburgh's Oakland section). No, not Jim Kelly (East Brady). No not George Blanda (Youngwood). No, not Terry Hanratty (Butler). . . IMVHO, the best QB ever was Joe Montana (Monongahela).
