Just had a really weird experience. My wife, son and I were driving home from the restaurant when I noticed a really bright object in the sky moving very fast toward us out of the west sky. It had a glowing tail and was definitely coming toward us. As we were watching, it flared up and dissipated. This was 15 minutes ago and the western sky is still glowing with blue, red and green that looks like the northern lights. My guess is a meteor. I have to admit, seeing an object coming directly at us scared the crap out of me.
