RD, some of what you claim is possible. However, I believe it is high time for the Islamic nations to experience democracy en masse. Iraq is a good vehicle for that because to begin with it is not a fanatic religious nation. Has a long legacy of competent people. Why not help the commoners throw away the yolk of oppression? It would be a great experiment...
