Just got lucky guessing is all, LJ ... we don't get reports from independent and competent reporters who are intimately familiar with tambograndina attitude, so we can't know anything for sure .... politics is a hell of a thing wherever you go
I'm in this week, and to a higher dollar value than i was in spring ... that is good news, that the federales will devolve the equity share to the region ... one hopes the money would have been spent there anyway, but this way the locals can be assured it will, since they will control ... i think the market has yet to realise the full meaning of this support shown by the feds - they could have sat back and waited for man's deal to expire, then sell the claim to somebody else after rolling tanks down the valley as a public relations measure, 'disappear' a few opponents, that sort of thing ... but no, they are going the carrot route, not even threatening the stick, saying sensible things like 'tambograndinos must decide for themselves' ... this is good, and smart

Goldman is still selling i see, 7k today, 20k yesterday ... they're down 187k since they started 5 Sept ... selling a project worth us118.3m, or so some say, for a market cap of ~us15m ... hmmm .... well, i've bought from them some, and may buy more |
