But................. I bet lots of people only own funds. You'd have to get funds to sell and maybe that's what we're getting. Lots of the big caps are looking pretty ill..... maybe a source of funds.

I bet there are people like my sister who never pick up a financial magazine, never have bought stocks but do buy funds or invest through a 401K, have never even turned on cnbc and don't know what is going on with their money. BUT they buy spyders or a fund when they hear the doom and gloom on the evening news. And she gets most every single big bottom. Therefore............. I bet there are lots of people putting money in when they hear that doom and gloom. Prevents a bottom when we do that..... instead of getting selling on the doom, we get buying.
