The actions we do take include, as I just mentioned... I agree that everything you listed here are "actions." But at that point, everything becomes nothing. For example, if I post, "Here is an article I thought would interest the thread" .... I have taken an action. The mere fact that I typed those words becomes an action. The fact that I hit the "publish" button is another action. I don't disagree with that interpretation at all, but it makes "words versus actions" meaningless. Those who insist that actions speak louder than words must now take the floor to explain and defend their position, especially with respect to the SI venue. (I wish you could take the action of humming that song so I can hear it, as I don't think I know that one.)
