sandeep,

Turn the tables. The German Justice Minister correctly stated that Bush's preemptive strike policy is something Hitler would approve of. She further stated that if there were real justice in the U.S. that George Bush would be in prison for insider trading fraud.

How did the Administration react? Predictably. They decided not to accept the truth, but to come out with a vicious attack.

I think it is highly naive to think that the Iraqi public would be happy about the imposition of a U.S. imposed fake democracy. Just as Afghanistan's puppet Karzai would be a dead man tomorrow if his elite U.S. palace guard were to be removed. We have not won the hearts and minds of the people of Afghanistan, nor will we do so in Iraq. To think so defies recent history........

George Bush recently publicly supported a human rights activist who had been imprisoned in Egypt. Remarkably, almost all Egyptian human rights groups, and even the prisoner's wife came out in favor of the Egyptian government and in opposition to Bush's arrogant meddling. The same thing occurred recently when Bush praised some human rights activists in Iran. The Iranians immediately united in opposition to Bush's unsolicited and unwanted meddling.

I think what you do not understand about most of the rest of world is that they are deeply resentful, and rightly so, at the arrogance and bullying of the Bush Administration. People just want to be left in peace. And not dominated by an amoral (at best) or as viewed by most, an immoral and illegitimate regime like the Bush junta of vain and petty chickenhawks and venal war mongers.

Salaam aleikum, Ray
