I really like BRKT. THey have excellent fax boards. They are much better that Dialogic's GammaFax boards (I have worked with both). BRKT just bought into ISDN business, and also will be selling T1 boards. Unlike most others, BRKT makes both SC and MVIP boards, so they get both markets. One of BRKT's most intriguing products is called "SHow N Tel". It is a GUI VM and IVR app generator that is very scalable, and supports many different vendor's boards. I have worked with this product and it is very slick. Note that I have not bought BRKT yet, but I will be looking at this one very closely.
At this point, my favorite (and its a risky one) is BORL. THey have a new line of products, new management, and appear to be emerging from restructuring. In addition, JBUilder is about to release, and the early news is good. So BORL has 3 world-class applications, and strategic partnership with Oracle. I have only a small investment in BORL. I have some shares, and calls. The BORL calls are the most attractive. Especially the Jan 99 10's. They are selling for ~1.5. Numbers are to be announced soon and I am expecting good news.
