sandeep,

Re: The german justice minister vehemently denied saying any such thing...

"Vehemently"? Show me the URL. I don't believe you.

Who are you comparing to Hitler? In 1939, Germany was either #1 or #2 in military preparedness in the world. What does Iraq rank today? About #20 would be my guess, with a broken down 1960's style army that is vastly degraded for lack of spare parts. You are being hysterical, disingenuous and/or just plain stupid if you think Hussein represents anywhere near the threat that Hitler did.

BTW, Hussein's regime is secular socialistic. It is George Bush's corporatist right-wing regime that much more closely resembles the style and system of the National Socialists of 1930's Germany.

Study a bit of history and you'll make a lot less off-base and shrill claims.

Compared with your hysteria, Ms. Mackay is a voice of calm reason and good sense.

Salaams, Ray
