Several sympathizers with the Baader-Meinhof gang are now the government of Deutschland. Including Chancellor Gerhard Schroder (who is no stranger to tear gas soaked demonstrations) and his Interior Minister, Joschkla Fischer, who was the defense attorney for a number of gang members.

I like German politics. Much more sensible than the greed-driven and immoral mess we've got in the U.S. My German correspondents are predicting a steady course in Sunday's Federal election with no gains for the Conservatives. I sure hope this is the case. It appears that only the American public is deluded about Bush's goals and schemes.
