ALL:
Jane, I am praying for Mike and for you. Right now, you need to show the "peace that surpasses all understanding," and do not be afraid to lean on your Heavenly Father! He wants you to do that, and He loves you all! Trust Him, even in this time! I bought this Veggie Tale video, based on Esther, and in it, her cousin, Mordecai, says Esther was placed in her position, "for such a time as this." My Minister spend some time on Esther's story, and tells how God was behind the scenes, involved entirely, using it for His plan, for His glory! For "such a time as this," He is in the middle of everything, and in control! Give it to Him!
Remember this verse and rely on His strength, rather than your own! "He is our strength (Psalm 81:1) and our helper in times of trouble.":) My little boy often tells others t for encouragement, "you rock!: Well God "rocks" and He is "The Rock!" There is NO OTHER! You can count on Him, to be there in this and all situations! :)
gregor, that is really fantastic about Hudson! Yea God!:) How wonderful!:)Just when we were all about to give up, God was there! How typical!
I will post this e-mail, that I thought was encouraging!

Many times in our life we face difficult circumstances and we try our best to resolve them as simply as possible, but more times then not when we look back on that trial we think of a way that would have been better to resolve it. This is why we should be quick in asking the Lord to help and guide us in making important decisions or things that we are having trouble with. He is our strength (Psalm 81:1) and our helper in times of trouble. I encourage you to seek the Lord in prayer and invite Him to be the guide and master of your life.
This is a good story of how the Lord is always watching us in the background; waiting for us to wake up and realize that He is available to help us when we face trials or tribulation. I pray this story ministers to your heart.
THE ROCK
A little boy was spending his Saturday morning playing in his sandbox. He had with him his box of cars and trucks, his plastic pail, and a shiny red plastic shovel. In the process of creating roads and tunnels in the soft sand, he discovered a large rock in the middle of the sandbox.
The boy dug around the rock, managing to dislodge it from the dirt. With a little bit of struggle, he pushed and nudged the rock across the sandbox busying his feet. (He was a very small boy and the rock was very large.) When the boy got the rock to the edge of the sandbox however, he found that he couldn't roll it up and over the little wall. Determined, the little Boy shoved, pushed, and pried, but every time he thought he had made some progress, the rock tipped and then fell back into the sandbox. The little boy struggled, pushed, and shoved; but his only reward was to have the rock fall back, smashing his chubby fingers. Finally he burst into tears of frustration.
All this time the boy's father watched from his living room window as the drama unfolded. At the moment the tears fell, a large shadow fell across the boy and the sandbox. It was the boy's father.
Gently but firmly he said, "Son, why didn't you use all the strength that you had available?" Defeated, the boy sobbed back, "But I did, Daddy, I did! I used all the strength that I had!"
"No, son," corrected the father kindly. "You didn't use all the strength you had. You didn't ask me." With that the father reached down, picked up the rock, and removed it from the sandbox.

I thank God that He is always available when I call on Him for help or guidance. I never get a busy signal or someone telling me that He is busy and cannot assist me at this time. God is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent. He knows everything, has all power and authority, and is everywhere at the same time. There is no "Rock" that He can't handle or get an answer to and He is always ready to help, but we must be willing to call upon Him for it. Whatever problem there is in your life, God is and has the answer. I encourage you to be quick to call and ask for His help. The Lord will never leave you nor forsake you.
Read and meditate on these scriptures:
James 1:3-7 "…the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord."
Psalm 145:15-19 "The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season. Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing. The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them."
John 16:33 Jesus declares "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
Psalm 34:15-17 "The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles."
