History shows that tyrants and empire builders eventually get their comeuppance. Shrub just seems to want to put it on the fast track. His arrogance is especially amusing since he wasn't even really legitimately elected. He'll get derailed by the developing credit and financial disasters soon enough. You'll see. Over the next few years, you'd be lucky NOT to be in office. Watch Japan. Watch JPM. Watch FNM. Watch IBM. etc. There will be plenty of blame to throw around for the outfall from the excesses of the corporate and political "leaders" (and I'm including both political parties here), and the average American's sense of entitlement. It will get taken out on the politicians in office in 2004. The USA needs to be strong in the context of a healthy and balanced world economy and environment, not as a lopsided tyrant. We are on such a wrong course here.
