BUSH BETRAYALS, Part 2

Buddy,

This author might not have been aware that Bush I told the U.S. military to stand down for Saddam airborne gunships in the Kurdish north, as well as the Shiite areas near Basra. He shamelessly betrayed the very people he'd incited to rise up against Saddam in a display of cruel and casual realpolitik.

I have a very strong distaste for men who could be so treacherous and lie about doing it for "freedom and democracy". They are shameful.

If you're a glutton for punishment in reading about the chicanery of the Bush I regime in the 1980's and early 1990's, here's an excellent synopsis of scheming. This speech by Henry Gonzales would curl the hair of average and decent American citizens if they would only pay attention to the indecent things that are being done across the globe in their name:
