yeah irony duly noted :-) of course some personal truths, that are antithetical to other truths, are hard to live with. I think that was an unexamined point in the article Karen posted. If person A admits that truth is relative, but still says "But this is what I believe in my relative way." and person B says "You are going to Hell!" They aren't going to get along too well. That is just my opinion. For some people personal truth is all truth, and there is no other way to see things. While that can be understood by relativists, it cannot exactly be embraced, or respected (perhaps?).
