I watched the De La Hoya/ Vargas fight last night on a tape delayed HBO..not sure when the fight really happened but I was gripping the sheets as the fight progressed. House all quiet..everyone asleep..these guys were slugging it out man O man...sometimes boxing is a beautiful thing I noticed when they played the slo-mo segments of the key thrashing as DeLaHoya was finishing him off up against the ropes that the majority of spectators cheering wildly during the assault were women...chicks are kool<g> The adrenaline begins to rush as the kill gets ever closer..human nature is a curious thing. There's no doubt in my mind that such a response to that sort of an event is hardwired into us..or me at least<g>
