Ok, I read your initial reaction. It is that the premise of the article is wrong. However, contrary to your suggestion, the article does not declare Ritter to be a pacifist, just implies it where Iraq is currently concerned(exactly as you suggest is correct). The quoted "He wasn't always a dove," is in direct reference to his quoted desire to get tough with Iraq in particular, rendering your idea that Ritter is only a dove on "..this one(war).." in full essential agreement with the premise of the article.

Your "This is a war against the wrong enemy for the wrong reasons," is only your opinion, and as such is not an accepted premise here now, though it has bearing on Ritter's rather contradictory stances if Ritter might agree with you(in which case the article is vindicated).

The conclusion of the article seems to be that Mr. Ritter's stance on Iraq DOES fly in the face of his own prior statements, no matter how vehemently we've heard him say he stands behind ALL of his prior statements without contradiction in his mind(only in his mind, IMO now that I read his statements for myself).
