I can predict with confidence that you, JohnM, will not be satisfied by anything that you see prior to our inevitable attack on Iraq.

Oh, I'm sorry to conclude I now think the invasion is inevitable and, at the present level of evidence and argument, it's likely because the Bush folk are so far out front of both, they can't back down. Bad reason for war. But there goes the famous Bush arrogance.

If the Bush folk have evidence and serious argument and are waiting for some future opportunity to enlighten us, then they are either very poor at their politics (which I don't think is true) or extremely cynical (we'll just wait until you demand evidence, then we'll provide it, and embarrass you with what we know). I don't think either are true. That leads me to believe that 9-11 has become an excuse for their radically different foreign policy, not only a reason to shut down Al Q.

Just watching the Fox NFL pre-game show before finishing my usual Sunday morning house cleaning. Keep me talking so I don't have to haul the vacuum cleaner up the stairs.
