Brinker specifically stated in his newsletter that he was not going to cover Lam Research which is acquiring OnTrak Systems. He therefore suggested selling OnTrak and reinvesting the proceeds in Vanguard Index funds which have been soaring on their own recently. If he does not cover a company that acquires a stock he has recommended he has no alternative but to move on. This seems like the responsible thing to do. Many bought OnTrak in the teens and made huge profits on the shares. Hopefully you purchased Uniphase on his Nightly Business Report recommendation in January at 45 and are now smiling with your shares already marked up to the mid sixties in only six months time. And how about those Microsoft shares recommended at $8 in 1990 and those Vodafone shares recommended at $17!!!! Still holding those sweethearts.
