I would absolutely call you a believer.

I don't think "belonging" to a recognized religion adds or subtracts points.

The only people I would challenge are those who deny that the universe/existence are explained by a purposeful creator, or an intelligent hand. I'm talking about people who insist that intelligent causation is a logical impossibility and can be affirmatively ruled out; i.e our existence can only be explained as the result of random chance and accident. I don't challenge agnostics, as I don't claim certainty for my own belief. And I don't challenge confirmed atheists because I resent them, but only because I believe they can be proved wrong through reasoned argument.
