I suggest that you check out FORB's mag. re: bond funds... Especially those managed by Bill Gross - PIMCO. I went through this BS in 80 - 81. Right now, we are going into the 3rd year of declining market value, however, interest rates are very low. Gross has avereged 7% + over the past few years, and seems to be a very astute individual.
