Nice try, but it won't fly.

What won't? If you're referring to my being able to get you to post a link to provide evidence for your statement, believe me: I'm completely aware. There wasn't a chance of that from the start; do you think I'd have embarked on these last two or three posts if I'd thought there was any credibility or factual basis to your laughable assertion?

They said it, I just don't have the link.

Absolutely untrue, as this poster also said.

On your part, it's either a complete lie - hoping not to be challenged on it - or wishful thinking.

And there is not the slightest reason to doubt it, since that is exactly what we have done.

Collateral damage and civilian casualties are an unfortunate reality in any armed conflict going back thousands of years. If it's a question of their lives vs. those of our troops - such as when enemy governments or combatants attempt to utilize our rules of engagement against us (Iraqi tactics like putting antiaircraft guns on top of apartment buildings or Somalis using women and children as human shields) - well, in my opinion, that's not even an issue. Grease them.

As for not having reasons to doubt your statement, would you even jokingly suggest that you are such an authority, such an expert, so knowledgable, that I should take your word unquestioningly?

Is that what you're suggesting?
