Eric, "because we have ample capacity and lots of possibility to increase existing capacity in existing networks for GPRS" - but then again what does HE know that "the other threads" don't know... btw, I really think he has a good point in that applications should define 2G, 2.5G, 3G and SMS certainly defined such a generation in most part of the world. We will see about MMS.
