RE: "How could i have been so dumb?" I watch my stock portfolio shrink and I know how I could be this dumb. The only reliable method of forecasting is hindsight. Some people get it right some of the time, but not reliably. The good news is that the game is not over. If you don't need to sell at low prices, don't. Wait for higher prices. There is NO relationship between how low the price gets and how high it will get. There is little or no immediate visibility on the down side and even less on the up side.
