I am curious to see what the results are of different contracts relative to open interest. I thik your going to find that the higher the open interest the more they get mispriced when momentum swings kick in. I have CNBC on from 7am until the market closes. I dont why you would want to become unchained, there your best source (in fact only source) of where the market might open (follow the futures)and where its going during the day ( I watch the tick and premium indicator). Index options are a tough game, you need all th help you can get. I have also found that my best plays always come in the last week before expiration when most of the premium is sucked out and then I go after the closest out of th money strike. I never hold more than 2 days. Made my best hits buying thurs afternoon prior to expiration. Had my biggest losses buying in the first week of new option period, the premium is just do damn much. Good luck, Have fun and most of all DONT put too much money in these things they will suck you dry. Now if you want to talk about equity options, that a different story. Sam
