Yields on both 5- and 10-year notes are at level they haven't seen since 1958. Bush making his war at this point is terrible timing. Saddam has been doing his thing since the gulf war...another year or two is not going to make a big difference...Bush should step back rather than threaten the economy with a war that will cost in the hundreds of billions...won't hurt the oil or defense industries of course...
