Petz Re..Final sales of computers were higher than 6M, but AMD said that the inventory reduction in the channel will continue, so don't count on any help from that angle.

However, if you put it in perspective to Gantners report that AMD sold 19% of the 38 million cpu's (7.22 million), AMD could easily up the sales figure by 1/2 mil. and still reduce inventory. With flash firming up, I fully expect AMd to meet its goal, as the bar wasn't set very high.
