"pernicious and racist" Very poor article. The critic doesn't like "Facial Analysis" because it has a "Genetic" bias. Can't do that. Wouldn't be "Multicultural." Has to be based on the Culture or Margaret Meade might be wrong. The Author of this article starts off by proving that Gladwell, who wrote the piece on Facial ID, wrote an article a few years about hormone replacement therapy that is not considered correct today. BFD. Since the guy specializes in writing about cutting edge stuff, that is bound to happen. Then he sets up a "Straw Man" about it becoming accepted in Courts. What nonsense! It would never be more than an investigative tool, at best. "Nature vs Nurture" has been so political today that if you say anything is due to, or based on genetics, you lay yourself open to being called a Nazi.
