Unfortunately, I think that beating the estimates by a penny is probably not enough to silence the critics. Hardly what one would call decisive. And certainly, if one was basing one's expectations on what one read here, one would be disappointed. I actually feel a bit of a letdown.

However, the Seagate and Panang plant announcements give me a lot of reason to believe that the old IO will continue to surprise on the upside. Capacity is definitely not going to be a problem as we go forward.

I really want to hear the rest of the announcement before deciding how I feel about these earnings. Like, are rampup costs still keeping net profit percentages low? Sounds like around 5% net to me.

I must also comment that it looks like the analysts we all like to put down for knowing nothing must have known something. They were pretty close to the mark (this time).
