Personally, as a former employee and user of their products, I believe in "the company" too, and suspect they'll be around for a long time. But I don't equate "good company and good products" with "good investment." That belief is an gross oversimplification of Peter Lynch's investment advice that has been frequently abused in the last 10 years. In truth, it's just a starting point. [Disclosure: Shorted a bit of Intel at 14.65 today. I'm ahead a bit as of the close, with a stop just below my buy point. Don't have much conviction, but believe lower is more likely than higher in the next few days.] mg
