Another huge undeveloped gold project moves forward:

The long-awaited management changes at the Boddington gold project are just days away, with the joint venture partners expected to sign documents soon.

The move signals a major change in the history of the project and a tentative step forward for Australia's biggest undeveloped gold resource.

The new management company will be owned by the partners and reflect their shareholdings in the project - AngloGold with 33.33 per cent, Newmont Mining 44.44 per cent and Newcrest Mining 22.22 per cent.

The project is looking to process more than 20 million tonnes of dirt a year to produce about 600,000 ounces of gold.
