China and the USSR have (had) veto power. I kind of wonder why Russia was able to inherit that power, now that I think of it. The Rwandan genocide came up, for example UN Security Council resolution 918, and Algeria comes up all the time. But I agree that Israel gets condemned a lot more than countries with similar problems.

Now that we agree on that, why is it that you think that Israel is a permanent nation, LOL!!! This reminds me of the Rambus faithful who constantly complain, on the one hand that Rambus is the subject of a conspiracy to destroy the company, but at the same time, and in direct logical opposition, that Rambus will win in the end.
