use of the conjunctive does the trick.

I think you are oversensitive on this speech, but you may be right. I disagree.

I went back and went over the posts at campus-watch. They list 14 Universities and 7 professors that they have a "Watch" on. The Professors have articles supporting Palestine, that they have written, listed. Listing them just because they wrote an "Anti-Israeli" article is unfair, IMO.

The one egarious incident was the listing of a course by Shingavi, who founded the SJP (Students for Justice in Palestine) a hard-line, pro-Palestinian student organization on Berkeley's campus. (SJP, for example, denies Israel's right to be a Jewish state.) Shingavi's course was on Palestine, from his perspective, and the prospectus said, "Conservative thinkers are encouraged to seek other sections." This got him into hot water, and made Nationwide news. The University pulled the phrase. Fair treatment, IMO.

The Universities are ones where Pro-Israeli speakers were stopped from speaking, and Pro-Palestine ones have spoken with no interruption. This is fair, IMO.

I understand your concern that this could get out of hand, and agree that it is very dangerous if carried to far. But I think the light of day should shine on this type of behavior.

Pipe's point is that the chances of a Mid-East Professor at our Universities being anything but Pro-Palestine are slim and none, and "Slim" just left town. That seems to be true, from everything I can find. They really have taken over the Departments. There is nothing wrong, IMO, with pointing this out and making a fuss about it.

These people are teaching their POV without it being known to the Public, who pay for these schools. If this exposure results in a fairer treatment of the subject on campus, good.
