Lorne, They're have been a couple of posts (specifically by Addi and myself, for the most part) about some classic Hadiths. The ones illustrated on this thread are almost unbelievable in fact! They are insane! Also, I have proven through my personal study (and also on this thread), a Muslim that considers the Qu'ran as the word of God MUST consider the Hadiths as holy, because one is a irreplaceable companion of the other. In fact, without the Hadith, the Qu'ran is incomplete. So, Islam must consider some of the most ludicrious teachings in the Hadiths in the same regard as the Qu'ran, and could not dismiss them, without dismissing the Qu'ran as well. God Bless, IGIT
