Do I think that those who have already fought for this nation, now want to see us shy away from the duty of protecting this nations rights and freedom's?? NO WAY. These men and women of previous wars paid a price, some with their lives. They know what kind of hell it is to fight a war, but most would agree that the freedom's we take for granted are worth it. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Thank you Neeny. A lot of us feel that way. My child is of age to be sent to war, although not a member of the military. It is a proud service.

I have been following this thread for some months, and have never posted. Thank God for the "This message is ignored" function. Lots of drivel here, but also some real jewels.

Before I melt back into cyberspace, let me make an observation. George W. Bush will do what it takes to protect the American people from terrorist attack, insofar as the inefficiencies of the intelligence services and the defense department will permit. This will be without regard to the "feelings" of the liberals, the Germans, the French, the Chinese, the Arabs, the Muslims, or whoever. His duty is to protect the United States. I am confident he will do whatever he can to do that. If that offends someone, well...they will just have to live with it, I guess.
